In Sole Survivor, players select a single unit to command trough battles with other players as they engage in a deadly game of hide-and-seek. Unlike Renegade, there is no vehicle limit. Command & Conquer: Sole Survivor is a multiplayer game that allows up to 50 players to compete against each other in a single game. Purchased vehicles will exit from the vehicle factory in the back of the room when their construction is completed. If you wish to use a different character/weapon configuration or purchase a vehicle, use the Purchase Terminals in the center of the portal room. If infantry have trouble teleporting, stand in the center of the bay and jump. If you have trouble, enter the bay from the side and drive as close to the wall as possible. Larger vehicles (such as the GDI Mammoth Tank) will have more trouble fitting into the portal bay than smaller vehicles like the Nod Buggy. Please do not overload the portal bays, as objects will merge into one if they are teleported at the same time. These teleporters will warp any object that enters it to a certain location within the designated battle area.
Even though your role as a player is more individual and free than in Renegade, it's still mandatory to work as a team to win.Įach team (Global Defense Initiative, Brotherhood of Nod) has a central portal bay within which is contained a vehicle factory, unit upgrade facilities and seven teleporters. C&C Renegade: Sole Survivor is a team-based modification, mainly because the Renegade game engine does not support non-team play.
